"If woman betrayed him on his eyes, has the baby with other, poisoned his mother and additionally has all off the pokemon's, he can be little angry, right?"
5 episodes in to SG Universe and to expand on what I said earlier, I don't think the series is gonna fly. I usually wait till the 5th episode of any given series to determine if I'll continue watching it or not and as of now I'd give it a 2 out of 5. The plot is somewhat predictable and weak in some parts. The show is centering too much on development of weak characters and in some cases I'll go as far as saying the music for the show have more character, then some of the characters. I'll continue to watch just because it's Stargate and in hopes that it'll get better but I dunno. Some people on the forums I cruise are hailing the show as "Battlegate: Voyager" since it seems to be a mashup of the 3 series.
In one interview which I'm not gonna bother citing Brad Wright talks about not having a main archenemy for the crew of the ship to fight against. Just different threats and hostilities. He also says if I remember correctly he won't have any alien actors. So any aliens encountered will be all CGI and won't speak English cause they're in another galaxy billions of light years away and yadda yadda and such and such.
Also, apparently there are 2 more Stargate movies on the way. One featuring the return of SG-1 and a second movie to wrap up the season finale to Atlantis. Maybe I won't be so lazy and I'll find out how much truth there is to those claims tomorrow.
That's all for your Stargate update with your host Juggernath. Thank you for tuning in.

Penn & Teller - "The lesser of two evils is still evil, and the enemy of my enemy is not my friend."
totally forgot to answer... thanks for the comment! I *still* haven't got around to watching it so I still have no opinion. But I shall find the time eventually.

One hopes. They promised the fans the movie to sweeten the cancellation, but now they're citing "the economy" as the reason the SGA movie hasn't been greenlighted yet. Hrmpf. At this point I'll believe it when I see it.
Actually I have mumblemumbleacquired the pilot but I haven't watched it yet. I'm still bitter over the cancellation of SGA so I'm waiting for the right mood to hit me. What do you think, is it worth tuning in?
mmmmmmm... It's different. Although only 3 episodes have aired it seems to be taking a while to get into it. I think its got potential but at the moment they seem to be focusing on character back story for the time being. Just torrent the episodes as they come on so you're ontop for if you ever wish to start watching it.
